The Technology Learning Portfolio

The Technology Learning Portfolio will be a reflective portfolio examining your personal growth and experiences with new techologies during the course.

The Objective of the Portfolio: You will demonstrate your understanding of thechology use in education as well as your own personal and profesional growth in the use of technology.

Portfolio Contents: The portfolio will consist of a minimum of five (5) sections.

• Section 1: An introduction to you.
• Section 2: Your views on your own personal growth in the use of technology, including an artifact and a description of that artifact.
• Section 3: Your views on your own professional growth in the use of technology, including an artifact and a description of that artifact.
• Section 4: Your views on K-12 curricular use of technology, including an artifact and a description of that artifact.
• Section 5: A sample and reflection of a piece of work that exemplifies your attainment of skills in the use of technology.

Options in the Portfolio Creation - You may use a variety of software applications to create your portfolio. Some suggested applications are:

• ClarisHomepage (or other web editor)
• PDF document
• PowerPoint Slideshow
• Hyperstudio stack
• or an integration of several of these into a single portfolio presentation
